Industry Associations

	VITA is an incorporated, non-profit organization of vendors and users having a common market interest in real-time, modular embedded computing systems. Accredited as an American National Standards Institute (ANSI) developer and a submitter of Industry Trade Agreements to the IEC, the VITA Standards Organization provides its members with the ability to develop and to promote open technology standards.
	The PCI-SIG is the industry organization chartered to develop and manage the PCI standard. With over 900 members, the PCI-SIG effectively places ownership and management of the PCI specifications in the hands of the developer community. A Board of Directors comprised of nine people, each elected by the membership, leads the PCI-SIG.
	PICMG is a consortium of over 450 companies who collaboratively develop open specifications for high performance telecommunications and industrial computing applications. PICMG's original mission was to extend the PCI standard, from the PCI Special Interest Group for use in non-traditional computer markets such as Industrial Automation, Medical, Military and Telecom. With the advent of fabric based transports PICMG specs have continued to evolve. This has resulted in a series of specifications that include CompactPCI, AdvancedTCA, AdvancedMC, CompactPCI Express, COM Express and SHB Express.
	RapidIO technology is an established, scalable, packet-switched, high-performance fabric specifically developed to address the needs of equipment designers in the wireless infrastructure, edge networking, storage, scientific, military and industrial markets. Under active development since June 1997, the RapidIO standard represents continued commitment of the RapidIO Trade Association to addressing the needs of the ever changing networking and communications marketplace.
	The Association of Old Crows (AOC) is a nonprofit international professional association with over 13,500 members and 100+ organizations engaged in the science and practice of Electronic Warfare (EW), Information Operations (IO), and related disciplines. AOC has members in 47 countries with 65 chapters in 19 countries. AOC’s membership includes executives, scientists, engineers, managers, operators, educators, and military personnel. Founded in 1964, the AOC owns a headquarters building in Alexandria, Virginia, just outside Washington, DC.
