VMETRO offers standard pre-programmed recording and playback products that provide robust, full featured recording solutions for popular standard I/O interfaces such as FPDP/FPDP II and Serial FPDP. As standard price list items, these recorders have been fully developed, tested, and documented for fast-delivery and general use in the market. All software is preloaded onto the hardware as executables, thus no software development work nor tools are necessary for the customer.
In addition, VMETRO offers application targeted pre-programmed recording solutions to address special requirements such as the type or number of I/O interfaces, control requirements, quick-look requirements, cross channel synchronization, and/or a myriad of other program specific needs. When a program is short on time or resources, data recorder experts from the VMETRO Application Group are fully prepared to propose and develop an application targeted data recording and/or playback solution. These solutions may include integration of 3rd party products and development of application source code that may or may not be maintained by the customer as required to meet the specific needs of the program.
Application targeted recording and playback solutions are very cost effective, because the vast majority of recording functions are fully developed, tested, and documented. Therefore, the additional custom software development effort is relatively small. Once developed these solutions are published and made available to the market as is or with additional customization.
