In addition to developing our own products, VMETRO subsidiaries, VSYSTEMS, in Europe distribute 3rd party products. The 3rd party products are complementary to VMETRO's product offering and often result in larger orders and an increased customer base.
VMETRO strives to expand our product offering and diversify into new markets. In 2007, VMETRO acquired two companies to achieve these objectives.
- Micro Memory, a designer and manufacturer of Embedded Computing and Network Storage Systems, enabled us to expand our product offering, strengthen our position in the US market and diversify into the Network Storage Systems market.
- 3D Radar, a technology leader in the area of ground penetrating radar, enabled us to gain new technology, and increase our product offering in new and existing markets.
VMETRO has 197 employees and is represented globally through its own subsidiaries and independent distributors in North America, Europe and Asia.
